Melanie and Thomas were high school sweethearts and had married young, but were entirely happy with their lives. Melanie worked as a piano teacher and Thomas as a police officer. When Hannah was three her little sister was born. Unfortunately there were some side affects to her sister Caroline's birth. She was born deaf, but the family embraced the little girl. Hannah soon became her protector as they both grew older, although neither was entirely outgoing after being sheltered by their cop father, they both made friends easily and despite the three year age difference grew to think of one another as their other half. But when Hannah turned thirteen her mother started to act strangely. She started to avoid the children and her husband. Eventually their father spoke to her, and it was revealed that Mrs. Wilder had been diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully they seemed to have caught it in time for her to begin treatment right away. It took three more years but she was finally told the cancer was taken care of. Her father, having been run ragged with distress could finally breath a sigh of relief. Their lives went on normally. Hannah hit her rebellious phase at the age of sixteen and started to hang out with a few sketchy characters. But when she realized what it was doing to her recovering mother she reformed herself and focused on her school work. By the time she graduated from high school Hannah had decided she wanted to be concert pianist and violinist, unlike her mother she had remarkable talent for both the piano and the violin. She was soon accepted into Juliard at the young age of eighteen where she trained vigorously, having little time for relationships. The few friends she did make was her roommate, Maria and Maria's boyfriend Oscar. The three of them became extremely close. After graduating from Juliard she was offered a position in an orchestra in London. After debating with her parents for several weeks she made her way to London to work and fulfill her dream. For a year she was happy, in a steady relationship and doing something she loved. But it soon came crashing down. While vacationing with her boyfriend in the countryside of Scotland for a week they were out looking for her boyfriend's lost dog when something attacked them. The last thing she remembers before she blacked out was her boyfriend's form and his screams as the creature ripped into him. Hannah survived, her boyfriend didn't. In order to recover from her attack she made her way back to San Francisco to see her parents. They were supportive and reassuring. Her little sister even took a week off from college to visit her in her time of need. Unfortunately it was a full moon again and this time she was in the middle of her parents house when pain started shooting through her. Concerned her parents and sister rushed to her side but she tried to push them away. She knew instinctively that this wasn't going to end well. But she transformed as they were trying to drive her to the hospital. Their car crashed out of shock of seeing their daughter turn into a monster. Her mother and father were killed on impact, her and her sister were tossed from the car. This was enough of a jolt to send the wolf running an the opposite direction. She awoke the next morning with flashes of her sister, mother and father in her head and a dog's carcass next to her. Shaken she ran, knowing that if she stopped to see if her sister was alright she would just put her in more danger. For two years she roamed the country, moving from hostel to hostel across the United States. Finally she moved into Canada and settled in Lytle Creek. Hannah took a job at a bakery trying to find her purpose in life after becoming a monster. Above all she is trying to keep some of her humanity alive. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
