The best part is that when they're near him, he just feels so very nervous. So yeah when it comes to girls he's not that experienced. When the time comes he can be cheerful too, he likes to make the most of his eternal life, living it with energy and charisma. Oh, and he also can’t help it that he tends to be a dare devil at times, he just likes to be the hero who saves the day. People equally feel relaxed and confused around him. Relaxed because of his friendly nature and confused maybe because of the secrets he keeps. He was raised in a loving and caring family. Samuel's father and his uncle were both blacksmiths at the time, supplying weapons even to the Knights Templar, the Crusaders. Samuel wasn’t the only child of his family, because apparently there was already an older sister, Katarina, before him, who would also take care of him. Samuel, along with his sister, spent an almost regular childhood. They had the open fields to explore, the green lands to have fun through. Samuel really loved his parents and his sister, while he was pretty thankful for the life that he had. One fateful day, Västergötland was attacked by forces of a nearby Kingdom and the common people, unable to appropriately defend themselves were brutally killed. This included Samuel's parents as well. The loss of his parents was already quite drastic for Samuel, but one of the horsemen took Katarina as a prisoner and fled the land, while leaving him behind and he had no hopes of ever seeing his sister again. Samuel was hopeless and helpless, without food and water he made it to the doors of a nearby monastery where he fainted. When he woke up, he was lying in a straw bed with a Monk staring down at him. "Rest my child. Do not be afraid, you are safe now," he said. So, Samuel was raised as a monk, but no ordinary monk. Several of the brothers there each trained Samuel the arts of sword fighting and archery, as well as close combat. Samuel once again saw rays of hope and his life was once again filled with a little bit of joy there at the monastery. At that time when Jerusalem was in constant state of war and the Crusaders were at regular needs of Knights, at the request of the father of the monastery, Samuel decides to leave for the Holy Land and join the ranks of the Crusaders, among the Knights Templars. Joining as a veteran it takes years for Samuel to reach at higher ranks within the Knights during which several battles are fought for Jerusalem. Even after many successful battles, at the Battle of Hattin, the Crusaders are defeated by Saladin and Samuel is mortally wounded. While he manages to escape the clutches of the enemy he see's no hope of surviving. Straddled over a horse in the desert, Stefan drops off his horse, close to death, near a tents set up by some nomads. The last thought that Samuel has is that he would die and the last sight he sees is that of a pretty face, before his eyes close. When Samuel woke up he realized that he had lived through what ever happened. It felt like he had slept the whole next day, at least that’s what he thought, but currently his concerns were where he was right then. In fact, he was lying on a cloth over the hot desert sand under a tent. Samuel fully awoke to realize he was lying on some one’s bed, in some one’s tent and the answer became cleaner when he saw the girl sitting next to him. . She was astonishingly the most beautiful girl he had ever see, pale skin, dazzling eyes and lustrous hair and with her beauty she also held a dark secret. Her name was Agnes and she explained to Stefan that she was a vampire and so were the rest of the nomads. Samuel could have been afraid, he could have been furious at what this girl had done to him, but he realized he was falling in love with her, not just for her beauty but for everything as he got to know her better. Agnes showed Samuel how to survive, she showed Stefan how to control his thirst. Life went on and Agnes and Samuel spent it happily as they got married and wished to have a happy married life. But happiness was once again going to be taken away from Samuel. This was the time when the remaining Knights Templars were being executed, burned at the stake and killed. Samuel and Agnes had done their best to flee and move far away, but the Papal forces caught up and staked Agnes killing her instantly. Samuel in at the brink of fury killed them all and drunk their blood, fleeing Sweden once and for. Ever since then Samuel had been travelling all over the world, studying subjects such as history, psychology and mythology. Finally Samuel settled down at Lytle Creek what he thought to be a simple Canadian town. With so much knowledge at hand and a few degrees here and there, Samuel now looks to find work in a college or university here at Lytle Creek as a history teacher/professor. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
