KALE, 26, VAMPIRE, JOSH HARTNETT so let me introduce you to this strapping young lad. his name is kale myle-rae cooper, but that's a mouthful. usually you can call him kale, but if you are the type for nicknames, cooper or coope will do just fine, he's not that picky, unless he hates you. this boy is only 26 despite him looking somewhere close to thirty. but sadly, he'll only be 26 for a long time as he is now a vampire. it hadn't always been this way, in fact, only half a year ago, he was human. but we'll get to that later. Kale's body is definitely one that stands out in a crowd. Well, more or less his height actually. When Kale stands up straight his height is actually 6 ft 7. Maybe this was caused by both of his parents being over 6 ft, or something else, but because of his height, Kale always walks around with a slouch because his spine has a slight curvature to it. Though he is rather tall and his body type is lanky, he isn't skinny. Sure you can see some of his ribcage when he is shirtless, but that is covered but by the slight amount of muscle that covers his body. It's not truly defined, but you can see the muscles and that's all you need to know. Kale hasn't been as focused on his body appearance as his body is dangerous enough. Kale's face is rather oval and no matter what, he always has facial hair on it. Nothing too drastic, just a slight mustache, and a small chin beard. Both his facial hair, and his hair are black. His medium length hair is usually allowed to do whatever it wants as he doesn't really care what he looks like, and he doesn't really care for hair products. The next thing to note about Kale is his eyes. Usually there are slight bags underneath his eyes as his insomnia keeps him up at night for days on end. The irisis of his eyes are a rather dark blue, sometimes seeming black, and sometimes seeming brown. But enough about what Kale looks like, let's talk about this boy's personality. this boy is very laid back and relaxed. he's ready to joke about anything or everything and doesn't have a care in the world. he's got a soft heart, but he always buts on a front for everyone and is always afraid of getting connected to someone. for that reason he can be hard to deal with, but if you win him over with your own charm, then you'll have a loyal friend for life. the bad things about kale are that he can be extremely moody at any given time and has a short temper which can flare for any reason. he's also protective as a papa bear when it comes to those he considers almost family. in some ways kale is still a jock, but because he can't really be around anyone he's always a little withdrawn inside himself. first you have to get him to focus before you can bust through his walls. so let me tell you about this boy's history. born in toronto, kale was the oldest son out of a family with three children, it was always kale's job to be the perfect child, and a wonderful role model to his sister and brother. mary cooper and henry were the proudest parents that a child could ever wish for when they had kale. he was spoiled from the moment that he was born, given everything that he ever wanted. for the first few years, everything was normal, as he was sent to preschool and day care. then, when he was 5, his little sister came along. the minute she was born, kale was her best friend and her protector. he loved his little sister and wanted nothing more than the best for her. he would always come home from school and play with her, whether it was pushing her around in a stroller, or playing with her barbie dolls, nothing was too big for him to do. Of course later on in life, she would come play with him for a change, you know lego and cars, and action figures. growing up was fun for kale, just him and his parents and his sister, and baby number 3 on the way. but that's where the apple pie life ended. just after his brother was born, henry was the victim in a terrible car accident. instead of killing him, it left him in a coma, which the doctors believed he would never awake from. now at the age of 13, kale was now the man of the family. still in school, he found himself being the one that had to take care of his mother and his two little siblings. and so, kale took on a job at a young age, and as soon as he hit high school, he took on another one. all the money that he made, every single cent, went to help his family. as soon as he finished high school, he took on another job, putting every cent of his money towards his brother's and sister's education. he provided for them almost everything that they needed, and basically was almost the perfect brother. but then things changed. one night while working, he went out back for a break, only to find a girl in the alleyway, bleeding and acting strange. she claimed that she had just been drugged, so kale left his work and took her back to his house to take care of her. they instantly hit it off, and before he realized it, he was in a relationship. little did he know that his girlfriend was a vampire, who just so happened to be looking for a partner for life. she believed that kale was the perfect person for her and so, one night, she turned him. when kale came too, she told him everything, what she was, what he was, and what life would be for him now. not really believing her, he went for a walk to get away from her for a while, but then the craving hit, and he ended up killing someone. appealed at what he had done, he ran, moving his way across canada until he hit lytle creek, feeling that he is now able to control his cravings. of course, he's trying to fight the inevitable. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
