IKERINE, TWENTY-SEVEN, VAMPIRE, ORLANDO BLOOM Let me introduce you to Ikerine(i-kerr-in) Frost, a vampire of italian descent and quite a veteran into the world of the "cult-horror" as humans would call it. He appears to be twenty-seven, but has actually been walking the earth long enough to say that he had been alive during the Italian Renaissance. Naturally, he is very aloof and doesn't really enjoy others in his personal business without first making an acquaintance with him. Throughout his long life, he has acquired reputation as well as many alias'. To other vampires and to werewolves and slayers as well, information about him is easier collected when addressing him as "Vamp" to a third party. Other than that, he is almost strictly Ikerine, as only his friends call him nicknames such as Ike. Rarely anyone calls him Luciano anymore. Ikerine, while well in tuned with the modern times, still seems to have a bit of old-fashioned taste in his style, though it is subtle and only noticeable to observant people. His variety exists of button down t-shirts, jeans and heavy boots, though modern casual dress might sneak up on him sometimes. His hair is kept at a semi-long style and cleanly groomed. A habitual wear of his are two rings both on his right hand, each with a significant meaning to him. The first ring on his thumb, is his father's wedding band, the second on is his own. Like most vampires, his entire family is deceased. He's a genuinely nice guy who sees no reason to act like a bad-ass or cause trouble. He's not much of a party guy as some vampires are depicted. He is seen joining socials though rarely actively participates in such. He prefers to watch the others enjoy themselves though sometimes he may join in for a little fun. He is polite and courteous and it's very rare for him to swear. Be warned not to mistake his politeness for weakness or passiveness. Ikerine at worst, can be rude, ruthless and downright brutal. He can be as vicious as much as he is friendly, maybe even more so. He likes being outdoors, as when he was alive and younger, he loved doing things to get his heart pumping as an adrenaline junkie. He's most famously known for his love of heights and dreams of flying; often on top of the highest places even if it's just to get a look at his surroundings. It was this seeming obsession of height and flight that gave him the nickname "Icarus" which was a mythological man who made wings of feathers and wax to fly. Jokingly, however, he has been called other nicknames too, such as "gargoyle" by his friends because of his habitual perching on top on roofs and buildings. He can get weird sometimes and is generally an enigmatic, creating eccentric art and abstract from inspiration of the world as he sees it. Ikerine also tends to vandalize from time to time, not only on buildings and cars but on people as well. If you get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, he'll most likely mug you then raid you with spray paint. In his world, everything is a piece of paper. Ikerine was born and raised in Florence, Italy as Luciano Callisto, an average citizen. His father was a business man and was very well respected within their community. As his father's son, however, Ikerine proved to be a bit of trouble. He was known for his "Casanova" ways and charming looks but as well as a natural-born delinquent and master of escape. As a means to calm him down and get him settled, his father introduced Ikerine to a young beauty named Maria. At first, he was taken by her looks and her gentle nature, but as time began to wan on, they began to repel each other. Ikerine found Maria a bit arrogant and rude while he himself was way too independent and child-like for her. It took them a while of bickering and fighting until one day that, in means to protect Maria, Ikerine fought off a guard and was imprisoned. Their feud with each other simmered down and an intimate relationship began to form, eventually leading up to their engagement. Around the time they were to get married, their town was swept through by the Black Plague, a sickness that their entire families caught, including Ikerine himself. He was hospitalized along with his family, his life dwindling down to nothing until one fateful night a strange man came to him. He asked Ikerine if he wanted to live, a choice that the young man couldn't resist taking. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the man bit him and before he even knew what was happening... he woke up. At first, he thought it had been a dream, but then the terrible thirst hit him. He killed nearly twenty people in the hospital and even more on the outside until there were wanted signs out for him, the people calling him "Vamp", as they did not know his true identity. He returned to his home, his thirst making him kill his petrified and confused fiancee Maria and it was then that he began to regain control. Realizing what he had done, he left Italy, traveling across the seas to search for a new life elsewhere, but for years, his uncontrollable thirst ruined his want for a peaceful life. He moved between countries ever, until he finally got a hold of himself and learned how to control his blood lust. It wouldn't have been until much later, that he'd finally settle in Alberta, Canada, anonymous to humans, but known within his own species and to those that hunted him as well. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
